IThe coffee prepared with the French press is for those who love long coffee with a rich and intense taste. The method of preparing pressed coffee is all about the details: in addition to measuring the coffee and water, it is important to focus on the timing.
WHAT DO YOU NEED
- French Press
- Still water
- O'ccaffe coffee beans
Place the French Press on a safe, flat and dry surface. Hold the handle firmly and pull out the plunger.
Grind the coffee and pour it into the machine. French press coffee requires a coarse and uniform grind. The recommended dose is 18 g of coffee per 300 ml of water.
After inserting the coffee into the French Press, pour part of the hot water. this is precisely the moment when the contact of coffee with hot water, called blooming, is observed. Continue pouring hot water until done.
Carefully reinsert the plunger into the French press without immersing it again until it comes into contact with the coffee, and let it rest for 3-4 minutes. After the necessary time has elapsed, press the plunger slowly downwards, exerting constant pressure to carry out the filtering. Pour the coffee directly into the cup.
After each use, wash the French press with water and a mild detergent and dry thoroughly.
